I love this recipe and I didn't think it could be any better, but grilled... oh! My! oh! My! You have to try them.
I used this grate that I bought years ago and forgot about it till now.
Grilled turkey meatballs
Ingredients
3 lbs. Ground turkey
2 tablespoons Montréal seasoning
(Which is not called that way in Montréal)
6 cloves Garlic (Scott loves garlic)
1 1/2 cup Cottage cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan
2 tablespoons Basil (1 if fresh)
2 Eggs
1 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
3 tablespoons Chives
1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
Directions
Mix all the ingredients but the meat with a spatula, add the turkey and combine well. Oil a 1/8 cup and your hands and form the balls.
Grilled 5 minutes on medium high heat on each side, then 5 more minutes on low heat on each side also.
I made 47 of them, I thought I would freeze some for later but nope. In less than a week they were gone.
I was too busy making them to make my regular marinara sauce so I made my
