Sometimes I wonder why we cook and I think we are just children playing with our food.   I also think we have a need to be creative and it seems to me that the industry understands that all too well. They exploit it and encourage people to make recipes with their processed product(s).  I prefer using ingredients.  When I went to the farm to buy strawberries there was a angel cake evidently in display.
