We don't want to turn the oven on these days, so here's a delicious no cooking marinara sauce recipe, so easy and so tasty.

It is inspired from (Easy Keto Marinara Sauce - Low Carb, by I BREATH I'm hungry)

1/2 teaspoon                                                        Salt
Black pepper to taste.
1/4 teaspoon                                                       Red pepper flakes

Directions

Blend away a few seconds and you have it.  I make it while my meatballs are baking or grilling, so easy and fast.

Bon appétit!

Update :

My niece made me discovered purslane, a plant that I thought was a weed.  Now I let it grow and add to the sauce for freshness.  I added 10 fresh string beans for my garden and kept some whole on the side of my grilled cheese sandwiches.

Grandma's bread, made with milk

I'm making bread this morning.  Yesterday I asked aunt Jacinthe to give me Grandma's recipe and she took a picture of it.  I love to see grandma's hand writing and the way it is redacted.  I wonder if she wrote down her mom's instructions.  It doesn"t seem to be  from a book.  I'll have to ask around. I found yeast in the pantry with a 2017 expiration date.  I thought I would steep it in water with sugar and see if it still good or not.  After 10 minutes I was not sure so I thought I would take a picture and asked my aunt if she thinks it's ok.  By the time I got my phone I could see that it was good.  Lesson learned: don't toss your yeast before trying it out.
