It is so refreshing, filling and satisfying. This smoothie makes me chew so I feel that I am eating and I like that, then I have energy all morning.
Strawberry orange smoothie with cottage cheese
(Yield 2 servings)
Ingredients
1 Carrot
1 cup Fresh strawberries
1 cup Frozen mixed fruits
1/2 cup Oatmeal
4 oz. Cottage cheese
1 tablespoon Chia seeds
2 tablespoons Peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric (good for inflammation)
A little bit Black pepper (to help the body to absorb the turmeric)
1/2 teaspoon Ginger (for inflammation and taste)
1 1/2 cup Orange juice
1 tiny pinch Salt
Directions
Blend for 20 seconds, scrape the edges of blender and blend again. I had one right away and put the other one in the fridge for tomorrow.
