I want a smoothie that looks like that.

Warm pumkin smoothie

Ingredients

1/2 cup                                                                Pumkin puree

1/2 cup                                                                Warm milk
2 tablespoons                                                     Peanut butter
About 1/2 cup                                                    Hot coffee
1 tablespoon                                                      Maple syrup
1 teaspoon                                                          Pumkin pie spice

Directions

First boil some water and put in a large mouth mug to warm it up.  Warm up 1/2 cup of milk in the microwave.  Put 1/2 cup pumkin in the blender mug with 2 tablespoons peanut butter, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 teaspoon pumkin pie spice, 1/2 cup warm milk and hot coffee.  Don't fill to the fill line, leave room for the steam.

Blend for 20 seconds, open gently to let the steam out, poor in your thermos mug, fill it with the smoothie and more coffee if there's room.

It took me weeks to get it right but I finally did it.

Let me know if you try it.

Eat healthy, be healthy! Have a good and yummy day!

Grandma's bread, made with milk

I'm making bread this morning.  Yesterday I asked aunt Jacinthe to give me Grandma's recipe and she took a picture of it.  I love to see grandma's hand writing and the way it is redacted.  I wonder if she wrote down her mom's instructions.  It doesn"t seem to be  from a book.  I'll have to ask around. I found yeast in the pantry with a 2017 expiration date.  I thought I would steep it in water with sugar and see if it still good or not.  After 10 minutes I was not sure so I thought I would take a picture and asked my aunt if she thinks it's ok.  By the time I got my phone I could see that it was good.  Lesson learned: don't toss your yeast before trying it out.
